Player has never registered in minor hockey before and lives within the Glenlake boundaries (includes players who have sibling(s) registered with Glenlake).
STEP 1 (PARENT):
- Create a MY Account login
- Create an HCR ID Number

STEP 2 (PARENT): Mandatory Hockey Alberta Respect in Sport-Parent Course
- One parent or guardian must take this online course. A separate fee is charged.
- Organization must be Glenlake - do not choose Calgary or another listed association
- For more detailed information about the program or if you have taken Respect in Sport-Parent for another sport, please review the following:
- To transfer a certificate from another organization to Hockey Alberta's parent program a person needs to go to https://hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com and choose to register a new user. The first field at the top of the registration page is where they will need to enter their existing certificate number and click check. Once it has been validated they will just need to complete the registration and the certificate will be ported and updated to the HCR.
STEP 3 (PARENT): Proof of Player Age and Residency
E-mail the Glenlake Administrator with the following information:
- Subject Line should read: New Hockey Registration- player’s first and last name
- Parent Declaration Form: Please complete in full and sign the Hockey Calgary Parent Declaration Form
- Proof of Age: Scanned copy or clear digital photo of the player’s Birth certificate or Passport
- Proof of Residency: Please provide four (4) CURRENT proofs of residency with your name and address (kindly provide these in a document separate from proof of age). Amounts and account numbers only may be blacked out if that is your preference.
STEP 4 (ADMINISTRATOR):
- Review and approve above documents to ensure the requirements of residency, age and Respect in Sport-Parent have been met and approval to register online
