Flames Community Arenas

As you are all aware, our arena is undergoing an expansion that will enable us to use a third sheet of ice for practices and home games.  The expansion will add to what is already Calgary’s premier ice facility.

As many of you are now no doubt aware, on Wednesday July 21st, a major announcement was made that the Calgary Flames and their Foundation for Life made a $1 million donation to the expansion of our arenas.  As a result of the donation, the arenas will be renamed the Flames Community Arenas.   While we may mourn the loss of the CCA we are all excitedly waiting to finally be able to use our new home the  FCA.

With the extremely generous donation of the Calgary Flames and the Flames Foundation for Life we are closer to our fundraising goal and the reality of a new arena. We need your ideas, volunteerism and dollars to help to raise the remaining funds to complete the project.

To provide all users, parents and fans an opportunity to be part of this exciting project we are looking for volunteers from Glenlake and the greater community to assist with the FLAMES COMMUNITY ARENAS BUILDING GOALS BUILDING COMMUNITY Fundraising Phase.
