Hockey Calgary has announced that it will introduce a motion at its Annual General meeting that will ban body checking from Pee Wee beginning in September 2012. There is an additional motion that body checking will be banned from Bantam in 2013 and Midget in 2014.

It's that time of year again. The fees you pay to Glenlake are eligible as a deduction under the Children's Fitness Tax Credit. Glenlake hockey tax receipts are available on-line.

A special event will take place from May 6-16 at the Chestermere Recreational Centre. A hockey game will be played continuously for ten days in an attempt to break the Guiness World Record for the longest hockey game ever played.
